Chris started racing at 8 in cadet karts. Progressing through the national karting series to European and World championships in 04/05 which earnt him a place in the prestigious Race drivers academy a young driver training scheme which also forms part of his studies at Loughborough University in sports performance.

Chris moved to car racing for 2006. Where he became the BRSCC Fiat Racing challenge Rookie CHAMPION in his 1st year of car racing, also claiming 3rd place in overall championship as well as numerous podiums and a lap record at brands hatch whilst still a novice!

Q: Which is the best racing car you've ever driven?

A:Mike Hawthorns 1956 Jaguar D type, I was down in Spain with the Jaguar GT3 car doing some promo work it was there it took days of bugging the guys to let me have a go, and when they did it was simply awesome!

Q: Which racing circuit is your favourite?

A: Cadwell Park in the UK, but Portimao in the Algarve is very close!

A: The tarmac itself I can never hate each track is different and has its own challenges but some locations are less desirable than others!

Q: Which has been your best moment in your motorsport career so far?

A: 1st race win is always special and now Ive won my home race too that was great. Its hard to pick just one, every race creates a memory. Ive raced all over the world

A: Jackie Ickx

A: Win the Le Mans 24hrs

Q: What was/is your favourite topic in school?

A: We called it CDT I think others called it Design tech

A: Spaghetti Bolognese with extra mushrooms

Q: Favourite sport besides motorsport?

A: I really enjoy cycling and Im total adrenaline junkie so anything that gets heart racing.

A: At the moment Im learning French with Rosetta Stone

Chris Dymond is one of the UK's most exciting racing talents.

Having successfully graduated from Karting at the end of 2005 after several years racing at the World and European championships.

Chris secured his 1st championship title in cars in 2006, taking the BRSCC Fiat racing challenge championship at his first attempt.

Competing in the ultra competitive Elf Renault Clio Cup UK in 2007 another title came Chris way with 4 podiums throughout the season Chris finished 8th overall in the championship standings allowing him to clinch the series graduate title. Chris strong performances during that 2007 season earned him a test with a WTCC manufacture team at the end of that year.

Throughout 2008 and 2009 Chris was racing in the FIA GT3 European championship for manufactures such as Alpina, Ascari and Jaguar and was responsible for the test and development of those GT3 cars.

2010 saw Chris secure a third championship title, the Radical UK CUP despite only competing in half the rounds Chris was able to secure the title with 4 wins and 6 podiums in the 8 races he contested, taking 2 wins apiece at Spa Francorchamps and Silverstone.

The new for 2011 Blancpain Endurance series is where Chris made his years bow, securing pole position by an incredible 4 seconds and then going on to win the 3 hour race by 2 laps was the reward for having to wait till October for a race outing. With limited race outings throughout 2011 Chris worked with several teams assisting with driver coaching and car setup work.
